TASK 3 WWW LESSON PLAN

MY NATIONAL CONSTITUTION

Grade : Form 4

Level: Advance

Time: 40 minutes

Aims: Expose to the students of the Malaysian Constitution and make their own constitution based on the Malaysian Constitution, and practice making correct sentences.

Technical requirement: A computer for each pair, with unblockable internet connection, and a usable Microsoft Word application.

Preparation:

1. Make sure all computers have a working Microsoft Word application.

2. All computers are connected with the World Wide Web.

3. With the help from the technician, the teacher will make sure all computers are already logged in the website which will be used in the class, if possible.

Procedure:

1. Write an interesting paragraph from the Malaysian Constitution on the board

2. Ask the students do they know about the paragraph written on the board

3. Explain briefly what the paragraph is all about and relate the explanation with the Malaysian Constitution.

4. Tell the students that today they are going to write their own constitution based on the Malaysian Constitution.

5. In pairs, amend an article from the constitution which they think needed amendments

6. Use Microsoft Word application to write out their preferred amendments, using correct English sentences.

7. Present their amendments to the class and state their reason/s why they think the article they chosen needed amendment/s.

Follow up activity:

1. Write a short essay about the article they chose, and explain briefly why they think the article chosen needed amendment/s. To be written in their writing book.
